Alli McWhinney Photography

On Sunday I went to my first photography workshop!  It was In Camera by Gray Photography and it was awesome.  I have to first start by saying how great Jody and Zach Gray are.  Not only are they kind, encouraging, and great teachers, but they also know their stuff.  They have mastered their technical photography as well as their business and were happy to share with us anything we wanted to know.  As a newbie I had many “ah-ha” moments throughout the day including realizing how to properly expose and the benefits of setting custom white balance.  The main thing I took away from this workshop was to always keep in mind that photography is all about light!  Find the good light and go from there, you can never go wrong with good light conditions.
